Responsibilities include the development and design of all of Thought Render’s brands, using a variety of technologies. Technologies included so far are, Flash / ActionScript 3.0, PHP, and Wordpress. Currently working on HTML 5 / CSS3 / Javascript implementations. Main website URL is http://thoughtrender.com which uses a custom animation filter that I built to create the animated building blocks. Under development is http://thoughtrender.com/SLWEB/ this is a work in progress, it uses a MySQL database and php to communicate with ActionScript 3.0.

• Created this website as well as sister website http://thoughtrender.com/music.
• Both websites are fully responsive, and solid on any platform or device.
• Incorporated cutting edge techniques and standard like micro-formatting.

Responsibilities included working with a small front-end team on a large scale (over 1,200 classes) Flex project. The product that I helped to develop and support leverages the PureMVC framework to help us build modular components that are portable to meet current and future client demands. Our front-end code leveraged a complex event/notification system and interacted with a Java back-end. The nature of the product is a tool that allows users to build complicated, tailored learning experiences.

• Hit the ground running and refactored all of the code base's server transactions from pre-MVC to MVC allowing cleaner interactions between the front and back-end.
• Built 95% of a variable management system that our users can use throughout our product.
• Started the process of porting AS3 classes into Javascript.

Responsibilities included developing front-end interfaces using both AS2 and AS3 that leveraged a Java based backend for cognitive tutoring systems. I worked directly under Dr. Bruce McLaren http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~bmclaren creating tutors in the CTAT http://ctat.pact.cs.cmu.edu/ environment for CMU’s Human-Computer Interaction Institute.

• Leveraged components created by other developers as well as created new components following proven architectures
• Re-coded legacy AS2 components into OOP style AS3 components

Responsibilities included developing interactive software using AS3 inside of Flash Builder (Flex) and Flash.

• Created an iPad application, using Flash, of SuperNova’s most popular PC program.
• Created best coding practices document and helped the team develop a streamlined process.
• Used the MVC programming paradigm and encapsulated as much code as possible for easy reusability.

Responsibilities included developing interactive, multimedia websites, and applications with Adobe Flash.

Worked on various Flash project through out New York City

• Completed freelance work for Trump Place, Blue Barn Interactive, and Evian among others.

Responsibilities included the look and feel of all Zactus media projects, as well as all Flash programming. Business model was based on a custom Flash 4 interface for databases that I was reprogramming in Flash 5.

• Debugged and modified over 8000 lines of Action Script.
• Reduced over 8000 lines of code to less than 1000 lines.
• Guided the look and feel to create a unified brand.

Responsibilities included New Business pitches and designing web sites, reporting directly to the Senior Creative Director. Specialized in story-boarding, and creation of multimedia projects with Flash, and various other audio, and visual programs. Also advised other teams on capabilities and limitations of current technologies.

• Relied on for splash page pitches for fortune 100 clients.
• Helped land Nortel Networks by providing 2 of 6 pieces of artwork shown (Flash/splash). Ultimately my work was chosen.
• Created email campaign with over a million users sending out customized mandalas for Pantene.
